Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Formula with pigment!!! I was surprised by this little compact pallet. The shades are very pigmented and long lasting. I love how smooth it feels and the shimmer shades really make a look pop. Although only 6 shades, the combos for looks are endless. I really love it.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Long lasting! I gave this to my mom and at first she was shocked by the bright green in the palette. She's not one to use tons of makeup so she uses one color at a time and has already hit pan on the browns. She loves that it's so easy to put on and it lasts all her work day. She also likes that it's not a dry texture on her "mature" eyes.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from My tips 1. This is a cream product - don't expect a fluffy eyeshadow brush to do the job. Use your fingers or a flat synthetic brush. Or both. 2. If you have oily eyelids, this formula is going to crease on you. Less product will last longer, and honestly, these seem to have been formulated for a light application. 3. Don't throw out the clear plastic sheet that comes inside the compact - keeping it over the shadows when not in use prevents drying out. 4. Some shadows are squishier than others (in my palette, anyway). The lightest shade is the firmest. 5. Finishes: Peach, dark brown: [nearly] matte Red, light brown: satin/pearl Gold: metallic Off-white: shimmer with fine glitter

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not what I expected Ok so the colors are very beautiful as soon as you open it up and it looks perfect and honestly it's the only good thing about it. Its lumpy does not spread well and honestly it's the worst thing I've ever tried from here which is disappointing because I love their stuff.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from An Amazing Shadow Palette!!!! I was truly surprised with this palate! The payoff is amazing and the fallout, non-existence! Can't beat the mixture of colors especially for this price!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Velvety, some shades are pigmented! Very soft to the touch. The peach, red, and yellow shade are decently pigmented. The other three are a little light.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Beautifully unique shadows. Perfect for travel. I love these six pan cream shadows. I have both versions. I have a feeling they’re being discontinued, so I had planned to stock up on both options. Unfortunately, there is only one option still available. These are beautifully unique cream shadows that are easy to work with if you understand that these shadows are not typical. I usually place a dry shadow in my crease, and blend it out. I then choose one, or two, of the cream shades, and pat them on my lid with my finger. If I want to put a bit more effort into my eye makeup, I’ll take a blending brush, and apply a transition shade in the crease, and buff. It creates a beautiful three shadow look in under five minutes. If I only have a minute to spare, I’ll apply a cream shadow on my lid, and into my crease. I’ll take a fluffy crease brush, and buff the cream shadow out and up above my crease, blowing out the color as I blend. This creates a multi shadow look using only one cream shadow. Honestly, this is my favorite technique using these cream shades. If you understand how to work with cream shadows you will adore these palettes. If you can find the blue palette, grab it while you can. It’s gorgeous!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Big no. I almost exclusively use E.L.F. in my daily makeup (and skincare) routines, so it’s safe to say I love their products. However, this is by far the absolute worst product I have tried. To be fair, 2 of the shades (the cranberry and greenish gold shades) were very pigmented and pretty in finger swatches. However, once I applied them to my eye they were impossible to blend, and the more I tried the flakier they became. When all was said and done, all of the product had either flaked off or had gotten everywhere in my failed blending attempts. To make matters worse, the rest of the shades in the palette were so greasy, it was like Vaseline with a little pigment mixed in it. Literally impossible to work with. Big disappointment, so glad I got this one sale and didn’t pay full price for it, because I immediately threw it away. Very rarely do a dislike an E.L.F. product, but this was just awful.

Is the texture like the colourpop super shock shadows or is it just a creamy type thing?

Asked by: Joid23
While they are similar to the super shock shadows, I would put their consistency more like the Stila Heavens Hue highlighter.  Using a dense, stipple brush (like the one they suggest using) or your fingers would be the preferred application. I wouldn't use these as a base (like the elf description suggests) without setting it with a similar colored shadow. Personally, I feel these are designed to work better on the lid, after using a neutral powder shadow as a transition shade. You can get good results by using the brush (either theirs or one you already have, as long as its dense and preferably stippled, Luxie makes a good one) picking up some product, placing it on the lid and use a tapping motion all over the lid. If tou desire stronger color payoff, wet your brush with setting spray. I would also use Elfs lid lock or a glitter glue to keep the colors vibrant. I wouldn't use these as crease colors, I don't think this palette is a "one and done", I think you need some neutral mattes to build your eye look.

Are these waterproof?

Asked by: DemiG
No, I do not believe they are waterproof. It doesn't say anywhere that they are. They are mostly just for everyday/simple looks. Not to much for water ;)

is this just a sprayover ir is it all the way through?

Asked by: Sedonut
Its not a sprayover... i feel its kindof like the heavens hue highlighter from stila! Laura lee on youtube has a reveiw and she shows the putty-ness of the heavens hue highlight.
