Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great for covering redness I've been using this for a couple of weeks now and it's great for covering any redness and evening out skin tone. I used to use a liquid corrector however I've definitely been converted to powder!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Ineffective on My Skin I'm not sure if I just didn't use this properly (this was my first time attempting to use a tone correcting powder) or if the product itself just doesn't work very well on my skin, but I found this kit to have little to no effect on my red spots or dark circles. The best usage I'm able to get out of this is to mix it with a finishing powder. Though your mileage may vary, I can't say that I would recommend this product based on my experience.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great for dark circles! I started using this several years ago, and still use it everyday! I have dark circles under my eyes (had them since I was a kid) and this is great for color correcting them. Also great for correcting any red patches! Light and blendable, I don't use any setting powder after this, and my makeup doesn't crease 10/10!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love it! I use this correcting powder as a setting powder. I have pale skin, and this is one of the few powders I've found that doesn't make my foundation look shades darker after application but also doesn't make me look like a ghost! I have combo skin, and this powder helps me avoid my foundation breaking up in the T zone towards the end of the day. This powder hasn't ever let me down, and I've been through many compacts of it!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Cost effective I actually can't tell whether I'm warm or cool toned, as I've been told both. Still, I was curious about this product as I heard others talk about it as a must, especially as a repurchase. It is a good product and I'm giving it 4 stars rather than 5, because the first time I used it over high coverage foundation, my face looked green. It looks good and natural over other face products, however, and even the same high coverage foundation ever since the first time. I would repurchase and recommend this product because I did some math and this is probably the most cost effective face powder in not just ELF but the market (at least for the lower priced items, as I'm unwilling to drop 20+ for powder even if the amount justifies in the end). It does its job and I think it's worth trying out.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good setting powder, no tone correcting properties I have normal skin and I use this to set my tinted moisturizer and undereye concealer. It does a good job of setting the products and taking away the shine. It doesn't look too powdery or cakey, even under my eyes. I just swirl all the colors together and it just makes a sheer translucent powder. I have tried using each shade individually for color correcting but they all go on the skin clear and offer no correcting. So it's a good powder, but doesn't meet the color correcting claim that it makes.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great as a light mattifying powder Great to use over liquid foundation as a light powder, doesn't affect the colour of my foundation at all, but can use quarters as spot correctors for extra colour correction. Do need to top up during the day.

I have combination skin, and I use medium shade, medium coverage BareMinerals. Would this work on my skin tone, and would it go over or under that?

Asked by: GabbyAbby30
The tone correcting powder may be used under your foundation either all together, or you may select from the 4 shades to neutralize specific problem areas.

Do you carry the skin tone corrector and the warm shade?   I see that on your video, it comes and warm. I have warm skin tone and the cool does not work for me.

Asked by: Shepard
We apologize, the warm tone was discontinued. You may want to try our mineral pearls in natural as an alternative.

I'm 50+, fair skin. I have never really worn makeup. I bought this and have no idea how to use. I need help with basic face makeup. Any and all help please.

Asked by: trish49
Try a simple concealer if you have any bad areas(pimples, scars, under eyes ect)and then simply this product mixing all colors together w a good makeup brush(i like elfs).. and you should be good to go. So many women end up looking cakey because of layers of foundation and powders. Less is more with makeup. If your skins dry, start with a primer/moisturizer.. hope that helps!!

Apply color correcting concealer, then this. THEN do your regular concealer, foundation and setting powder- try a popular one named banana.

Is the powder version better than the cream version? Which elf brush is best for applying this product?

Asked by: Tamara144333
I think it depends of preference and while creams have more coverage and are more direct (like a concealer), the powder is great for a finish on top of foundation or concealer to balance out color.
