Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great For My Skin I love this primer. I wear this a lot. It does blare out my forehead lines - which I love. I also love the feel of it on my face.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from What a surprise! I have ruddy, very oily skin. I’ve given up on trying to control my oil a long time ago but wanted to see if I could at least tone down the redness. This is esp desired since I can’t wear makeup due to the oil slick that is my face after 30 min after application :( I tried this primer and not only do I finally have face that’s the same color as my neck, the oil was kept at bay pretty much all day! I couldn’t believe it! It may not work for you, but it certainly works for me. At least worth a try..... and don’t forget to exfoliate to keep the pores cleared out ;)

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Product visual appearance is false. The appearance of product looks to be liquid behind the plastic outer shell. Surprise, it’s not! It’s actually holding a lot less product that what you think.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Meh I'm not entirely sure how I feel about this product. First off, mine is purple? The texture is weird. Yes it smooths the face, but silicone like. Scent is also off putting. I can't really say if it makes my makeup application last longer or look any better. Its not sticky... very weird. I can say it definitely helps with toning the skin and reducing redness... sometimes I just use it to keep the redness down during the day.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Caused Severe Allergic Contact Dermatitis I bought this product hoping it would help my cheek redness, but was unpleasantly surprised when it worsened the situation tenfold by causing severe allergic contact dermatitis. Folks with allergies and sensitive skin beware. I've been on extra medication and cream for a week now, and it still hasn't cleared up. Be careful what you're putting on your face. I learned the hard way that you get what you pay for.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Horrible - Do not Buy! My daughter just bought this and it caused a severe allergic reaction. I would not recommend this product. I don't know if its the poor ingredients because its so cheap or what, but her face is having a severe reaction and has to be medicated. We will never buy elf again.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Bad Experience, terrible acne from this product tried this out a few days ago in place of my usual primer to minimize the redness on my forehead and cheeks (not acne, just pink/redness) and it was OK, did help a little but i really didn't like the texture and decided not to continue with it after 2 uses. (the rest of my makeup routine has been the exact same for months) Well its now 3 days later and I need to go to my doctor for the acne that has consumed my whole face. Red, swollen, bleeding and sore... I've never had severe acne in my life but everywhere i used a dot of this primer (cheeks, forehead and the bridge of my nose) is beet red and hurts like heck! Would not recommend to anyone with even somewhat sensitive skin. Really disappointed, since I've been so happy with most of ELFs products.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Skin Was a Perfect Canvas are use this to fill in my pores, reduce my skins overall redness as well as blur/cover acne scarring. It works amazingly, and in my opinion is a substitute for the clean slate timeless smoothing primer by tarte which is $40. Similar to this elf primer is the urban decay complexion primer. That being said, the elf one is the best of the three by far !!!

Is the tone adjusting primer water based?

Asked by: Rozi320

How many ounces or milligrams does it say come in this bottle? It doesn't say anywhere on the page that I saw. I just want to make sure that I'm going to be scammed out of my money. (:
