Make Me Matte! Foundation Adjuster is rated 4.3 out of 5 by 18.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great for oily skin I have very oily skin so by the end of the day it looked as though I didn't have any foundation on at all and my face was very shiny. I used this product and it made my makeup look AMAZING! I received so many compliments about my makeup once I started using this product. I do recommend using the product as instructed because if you use too much product you will have flashback but when used properly you will look FLAWLESS and your foundation is going to last.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Really works!! I have oily skin, live in Florida, and teach. I don’t like heavy foundations. When I started using e.l.f. BB cream, I loved it. However, I was always shiny no matter how much powered I used to set it. I got this to mix with the BB cream. AMAZING! My face was not one but shiny all day! You need this product if you have oily skin.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nice setting powder at a nice price! This product comes with a tiny plastic scoop that you can use to mix a bit of powder into your foundation. It also has a sifter so you can shake some into the cap and use a kabuki brush to pick the product up. The powder is not super finely milled but it is definitely not grainy either. The texture to me is comparable to Revlon powders. It is a lightweight powder so be prepared to just use a bit or you will end up sneezing and inhaling a good portion, it goes everywhere. Once applied to my face, my makeup looked really good and it stayed in place all day. No need for touch ups, (except lipstick of course.) I did not itch, it did not gather in my nose area or under my eyes. I have not used it in my foundation, I have very dry skin so I do not need this feature. I recommend this product for those with oily skin, dry skin (use a moisturizer) and since there is not a noticeable scent, sensitive skin but do a skin test first. Super happy with this product, I just wish they would come out with a Aqua type formula that feels wet when you put it on, (dupe for Becca), for those of us with super dry skin this would be amazing!!!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Does the job I'm glad I found this product. It really helps mattify my foundation and soak up oil so it lasts just a little bit longer. I've been mixing it in with my loreal promatte. the only thing that might bug people is that it's a little difficult to get started mixing since the powder is so fine. and you have to be careful not to use too much, if you do it'll definitely change the texture of your foundation and be harder to blend.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good for Oily Skin I have been using this for the last three months and i love it. have super oily skin and before I used this product, by noon my face would be all oily and shiny. After I started using this product, my makeup stays good almost all day. It really controls the shine. I use it as a mix in and it gives me long lasting matte effect and good coverage. This is an amazing product.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Sets the face well but gave me a allergic reaction The powder sets the face well, but I broke out into a terrible rash and got acne like crazy. Don’t recommend for people with sensitive skin.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazing I used it both as a setting powder and a mix in. Gives me long lasting matte effect. I have super oily skin and this is an amazing product. I lost it and gotta wait in my oily state til it’s brought back

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Not exactly UD velvetizer So I love the UD velvetizer but it is a little on the pricey side so I decided to try this. So this is definitely not an exact dupe for the velvetizer but it's kind of close. The velvetizer is a lot more easier to mix in with your foundation, while this one requires a little more elbow grease. But overall, it's not bad and I use this for my everyday foundation routine and save the velvetizer for special occasions.

Would this "Un-ash" my foundation ?

Asked by: RadientC
This product is not formulated to correct your foundation from looking ashy, although it will mattify your look and reduce shine. We think you may be using a foundation with an incorrect undertone which is causing the ashiness.

My mascara by the end of the day ends up on my eyelids, I assume because my skin is oily and as I get older my lids have dropped. Would this product stop my mascara from doing this ?

Asked by: Natnat0756
You certainly may dust this product on your eyelids and this can help with keeping your eyelids matte, however we would suggest using a waterproof mascara to prevent the smudging/transferring that you are describing.

I use a combo of moisturizer and BB cream for a light coverage vs. foundation. My skin, however is very, very oily and I am looking for something to mattify it. Would this be appropriate to mix into my combo?

Asked by: Cbieller
Yes, you may mix this product with the current routine you are using.

1. Do I need to set the foundation with a powder/translucent powder after like I would a normal foundation or no? 2. Does this change the consistency or look of the foundation itself?

Asked by: jennyfromtheblock
You do not need to use an additional product to set your foundation. It changes the foundation to a velvety, matte finish and increases how long it will last.

If mixed into foundation, will it make it lighter?

Asked by: mbreezy
This product mattifies and sets your foundation for a more finished look; it does not lighten the shade.
