Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love love love I am definitely a little mask and skin-care obsessed. And every single one of these was a winner for me. I was most skeptical about the glitter pore mask and I still do not think it pulled out much gunk but it was fun and left my skin feeling smooth. Magnifying clas was great for my chin/jawline area where I had a recent outbreak. Marshmallow was gentle and not aggressive. I had already tried the gel moisturizing mask in the full size during a sale and liked it but gave it away to my mom because my skin is not super dry and she has eczema. Really happy to get this mask again in a mini size! Great for the very occasional times I feel I need a deep moisture reset. Haven't tried the exfoliant yet but am super excited for that, too :)

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great way to try different masks I had never tried a mask before and thought e.l.f. prices might make it worth a try. This is a great little kit if you really don't want to spend a fortune on the wrong mask. I quickly discovered that the marsh-mellow soothing mask and the hydrating gel mask work best for me. The mattifying mask left my skin too dry. I accidentally left it on longer than I intended (thanks to my dogs wanting to go out, then in, then out, maybe fleeing my strange-looking face). So, if you have dry skin, I would recommend that you be careful with this one. The other two products in this kit also were not for me, so I'm glad I did not have to buy full sizes.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great way to try! I gave this set 5 stars, not because the masks are all perfect, but because it's an excellent trial set . . . exactly what it's intended to be. Clearly, not all of these masks will work for everyone. There's one for oily skin (mattifying), one for dry skin (moisture), one for sensitive skin (marshmallow), and two for purifying (peel-off, and gentle exfoliating). So I've officially tried all of these and have tried some of them more than once. I mask several times a week, but for different reasons. And let's be honest, not all of these are really "masks" like the real sense of the word. But three of them are, so I'll start with those. First, there's the black peel-off mask with glitter. Why the glitter? Because GIMMICK! haha. But it's fun and Instagrammable, so whatevs. This mask is a typical gel that you put over your t-zone or wherever you tend to get blackheads. The theory is that it will dry and adhere to everything underneath it, and pull out whatever gunk is stuck in your pores. Sorta like the old-school nose strips. Great concept, but I don't know that this actually performs quite like it's supposed to. My major issues with this one is that it REALLY adheres, and it's kinda painful to remove, and that while I can get the whole thing off as far as the surface, it seems like the outer layer of the mask dries and keeps the underside from fully drying, so when I pull off the mask, there's black gunk left. No problem, I just rinse my face after and we're good to go. But that could be a problem for some. My face DID feel great after this . . . very clean and smooth. But It's not anything to rave about. Secondly is the mattifying mask. This one smells SO good! I love the scent of this line. It smells like the mattifying lotion, which I also have. This is a basic clay mask, but doesn't seem to dry as solid as some, so I attribute that to the oils and other stuff in it. Also, it advertises that it has Tea Tree oil, but if you've smelled Tea Tree, that stuff is STRONG, and the scent on this guy is super mellow and fresh and not overwhelming, which tells me that the Tea Tree in here is so minimal to not even count, so why advertise it? Oh yeah, GIMMICK! :) But I do like this mask ok. It doesn't seem to mattify, as the photo I attached to the review for the mask itself will attest. But it smells good and is refreshing. I'll use it up and then move on. The next clay mask is the marshmallow mask. This is supposed to be soothing, and I know marshmallow (not the squishy sweet things you cook over the fire, but the natural herb) is supposed to do good stuff for skin, so who knows? Anyhow, this is probably great for sensitive skin, because it was really mellow and chill. I didn't get any sort of overwhelming scent or sensation. It's just a mask to wash off and forget you used it. Not sure what the benefits are. Another that I won't repurchase. So my happy mistake (or the first happy mistake) of this bunch is the gentle exfoliating peel. I accidentally ordered that at the same time. I guess I got excited about the end-of-the-year sales and just threw everything into my cart that looked interesting. So I haven't actually even opened the little guy yet. But the full-size one is sitting in the shower and gets used approximately 3 days a week. Yes, I understand, this stuff is going to peel and leave balls of gunk no matter what you rub it on. It's not balls of dead skin it's removing. However, going into it I knew that, and wanted to try it anyhow. It's pretty satisfying to rub this all over the face and neck and then wash off the residue. But when I looked int the mirror after, it left NO doubt that this is actually an effective peel! My skin was absolutely glowing! Not shiny, and not red. Just absolutely radiant. I have pretty decent skin, but this one really did a great job on that. I really like it, and I'm thrilled about my happy mistake! Lastly is the hydrating gel mask. This is another that I ordered a full size of after I ordered the trial set. But I haven't received the big one yet (takes a while for me to get my orders in Haiti). I am an oily lady, and I don't usually gravitate towards anything that says "moisturizing," "hydrating," or any other such adjective. However, I put this one on, and it's a really nice, thick consistency that is pretty much what I expect from a sleeping mask. It absolutely moisturizes, and while I'm oily, I'm also in my 40s, and so I try to balance night-time moisture with daytime surface-mattifying (powders and such). I've used this both as a 15-20 minute treatment, and overnight. It definitely left me hydrated both times. If you're super dry, you might want to try using it overnight, or at least longer than suggested. I'm not responsible if your face falls off, however. But yes, I think this is a nice addition to my skincare. Maybe I'll buy it again after my big one runs out. Maybe I won't. But either way, I would absolutely recommend it for dry-skinned lovelies!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Just great overall Love this multi mask kit. It's a great way to try different mask without making a full commitment. It's great for travel as well. They are small enough for travel yet big enough to get several applications out of it. Just great overall

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love the variety I bought the set so I could try different masks without having to spend an exorbitant amount of money. I’m very pleased with the ones I’ve tried so far and can’t wait to try the rest of the set. I have oily and sensitive skin, so it’s important to me that the products don’t cause irritation or breakouts, and so far I’m happy!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Sample Set This is a great way to try most of ELFs face masks cheaply and without wasting a full size product if you end up not liking it. Also, these are the perfect size for travel if you want to take them on the go. Even though the bottles are small, there's quite a bit of product in them. I'd say that you have anywhere from 3 to 6 uses depending on how much you apply each use. I've tried a few and already know which ones I'm going to buy later on and which ones I'm going to pass on. So glad I got these little guys!

How many uses can we expect to get out of each mask?

Asked by: emilyhartgirl
It depends on how much you use per application, but I'd say anywhere from 3 to 6. So far I've used mostly the charcoal one and I've gotten 3 applications with 1 left in the bottle (I think, there might be more in there then I think).
