Rated 3 out of 5 by from Horrible taste good exfoliant I bought this a few weeks ago at Old Navy and the only ones available were mint and brown sugar. I picked up brown sugar. What a mistake that was! When you apply it to your lips, chances are it’s going in your mouth... it tastes horrible!! The actual exfoliant part is good but don’t scrub too hard or you’ll have sore red lips that need chapstick constantly! I don’t use this product as much because of the terrible taste. I wish it tasted like Lush’s Lip Scrubs. For the price, it’s okay. I’m sure I will be grabbing it more often in the wintertime for my dry cracked lips.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I am Surprised! When I received this item as part of my purchase of the Iris Beilin Mis Amores Lip Palette I was surprised. A lipstick shape for a lip exfoliator? I am in love. Brown sugar is bomb and will be used everyday.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Great exfoliant! It really moisturizes your lips. I wish it wasn’t in a lipstick tube though... I accidentally pressed down too hard and the whole thing broke and fell on the ground...

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazing product! Bought this in coconut. It smells and tastes so good and makes me lips feel smoother and very moisturized. Very impressed!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Grapefruit Im guessing the grapefruit flavor is on sale for $0.65 cause they're trying to get rid of it. I noticed certain flavors were regular priced. I was looking at brown sugar but im not paying $3 for a lip scrub when i can make my own. Grapefruit reminded me of a glue stick as someone else stated and, i didn't really feel any exfoliating beads or anything. Wont buy again.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Brown sugar The best, it's actually the first lip exfoliating lipstick I've ever tried and ever will try. A little goes a long way as long as you don't eat it away off your lips, yes I'm guilty it's very tasty and does the job 110%

Are all the flavors equally effective in exfoliating the lips, or are some more effective than others?

Asked by: Anonymous247
The Brown Sugar one is a little rougher than the others. With the rest of them the only difference is scent and flavour.

Is there a difference between the 3 different exfoliators?

Asked by: geronimo
Though there are more than 3, they all have a difference. Each is meant to smell like their name plus some even taste like it. Ex: Mint Maniac smells and kinda tastes like mint. As far as I've seen, they don't have a tint and some are better at keeping moisture than others.

Do any of the different flavors leave any sort of tint, or no? Worried about finding a flavor I like that won't tint a color I can't wear well

Asked by: Sunshine20
They don't leave any tint.

e.l.f. team please answer!! I have always seen reviews about there being a balm in the bottom. However, there were two holes on the bottom which leads me to believe it's simply to prevent the product from drying out. So, is it a balm or is it not???

Asked by: anamay117
YES!!! I ordered 5 of the Cherry Flavor from their website, and they all have a really nice balm at the bottom.  The only problem is I had to use a wrench to pry it open, which broke the plastic.  I'll use up the scrub and then pry the bottom off and scrape it to an empty container.  There's a decent amount, so it's worth it.  I wish elf would mention this in the description because I've thrown away about 6 containers before I realized the balm was there!
