Additional Information

Lash Extending Mascara is rated 3.5 out of 5 by 153.
Rated 3 out of 5 by from Good, but... I love the way this mascara looks. It gives my lashes lots of extra length, is intensely black, which I love, and is a nice consistency - not too thick, not too thin. It also washes off fairly easily with micellar water. But ... those adorable little fibres that make my lashes look so long seem to fall off my lashes and into my eyes, making my eyes very uncomfortable and irritated and distracting me throughout the day. I have given a week's trial of this mascara to see if I was dealing with an isolated incident, but it keeps happening. Unfortunately, I can't get past this and will have to try something else.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Lives Up To Its Name! I only wear mascara on my lower lashes as I wear falsies on my upper lashes. I was looking for a mascara to wear with my wispier sets of falsies to make my lower lashes enhance the look of the wispy falsies. This is my third e.l.f. mascara so far and it is by far my favorite! It does exactly what the name says, it extends your lashes. One coat and I couldn't believe how long my lashes were. 2 coats, I was completely sold and hooked on this stuff. It lengthens my lashes for a soft, natural look without any clumping. I barely needed to separate any of my lashes after the second coat like I always have to do with all my other "high end" mascaras. I wore this mascara for about 12 hours and had zero flaking, smudging or "raccoon eyes," which is why I stopped wearing mascara in the first place. I am also a huge fan of the e.l.f. Mineral Infused Mascara which adds a bit more volume in my opinion, but less length. I always keep a few tubes of different e.l.f. mascaras in my makeup bag now to fit my makeup look and mood for the day, but for the days I'm going for beautiful long lashes, this mascara is my new go-to!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Actually works! I bought this thinking it was just another mascara. I was so wrong!! This stuff has little fibers in it to thicken and extend the lashes. AND IT ACTUALLY WORKS!!! I have some lashes that were accidentally cut off by my curler and it lengthened them to look normal!! And it didn't make my eyes feel heavy at all.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I’m amazed I’ve tried and love quite a few ELF products over the past two years, but I was NOT going to give up my beloved Clinique mascara. I’d been using it for years. My daughter, who introduced me to ELF, told me that she’d tried many, many different mascaras and is in loves with ELF mascara; she won’t use any other. So, I bought this one. I was skeptical. After all, I had a long-and-wonderful relationship with Clinique. Omg, I absolutely LOVE this mascara. It love the brush, the cream formula, the ease of application, and the incredible lengthening this mascara gives. I use a lash primer and use only one coat of this ELF mascara to get seriously-long lashes. Be like me and try it. You may, also, be amazed.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Brush head pulled off first try Bought this mascara, but as I tried to pull out the wand the brush head came off inside the tube. Tried a few to see if it'd go back on but no luck. So the review is for quality control.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from GREAT MASCARA! I bought this thinking it would be ok, but it’s great!!! I usually buy $20 mascara, and I was tired of spending so much money, so I tried this out. I have small lashes, but this mascara made them so long!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from e.l.f. - can we talk? I was a huge fan of this mascara before it was 'improved'. My lashes looked beautifully natural, never clumped or flaked, easy to wash off, and the application was always flawless thanks to the brush head. The brush head design was genius. Thumbs up to whoever designed it, and thumbs down to whoever made the decision to stop using it. I was very disappointed awhile back when I could no longer find my mascara in any store. I resorted to other e.l.f. mascaras, and other brands, both drugstore and high end, and have not been able to find anything that I liked as much. Eventually I found this new formula online. Was not impressed with the changed brush head, but reluctantly gave it a try. The good news is that I was not able to detect the difference in the formula. But the application was not was not as flawless as it was before. Please, please, PLEASE bring back the old brush head! Please?

I bought the lash extending mascara today. When I used it I found that there are bristles on one side of the wand. The other side only has little 'bumps'. Is that how it is supposed to be. I have always been satisfied with your other products.

Asked by: Valk
I use the flatter side to apply the product to my lashes, then slowly rotate the long bristles to seperate and comb each lash. It works brilliantly for me! You don't need a lot of product with it but the flatter side really helps coat them.

The mascara I am looking for, in black, has a genius brush shape. Short bristles on one side, long on the other. The number on the bottom is 81436 and below that 6KO2AE. I hope you still make this. I have not been able to find the particular mascara. Help

Is it a plastic brush? If not which mascaras that you have are plastic :)

Bought one in store and it is extremely dry.  Is the formula a dry formula, or did I get a dud?
