Clarifying Booster Drops is rated 5.0 out of 5 by 1.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great for Dry Skin and for Summer!! I purchased this online because I have been really enjoying all the drops elf has been coming out with. I like the look of the bottle, it is glass with a nice green band around the bottom. You get a good amount of product and the dropper is easy to use. The product itself smells so refreshing and feels good on the skin. However, if you are sensitive to tea tree oil I would steer clear. I personally love the smell and I also enjoyed the bracing effect it had on my skin, a bit cooling and stimulating at the same time. Wonderful for summer and for getting the day going in the morning. The product is not a true serum but a bit on the watery side. So if you have oily skin, don't be worried, this is not a heavy oil, very lightweight, sinks in quickly and does not leave a residue. I use it on my clean skin before moisturizing and it imparts a nice healthy look. No glimmer, glitter or highlight. Just a nice refreshed look. I have been keeping this in the fridge for an even bigger boost of refreshment. For the price and the quality you definitely can't beat it. Comparable if not better than my Kiehl's Midnight Rescue. Recommend Highly.

Can you please tell me why this is made with Phenoxyethanol - an ingredient(s) that is a "probable" human carcinogen, that is toxic to your kidneys and liver, that can cause organ failure... through skin exposure? And I was REALLY excited to try these :-(

Asked by: notleeanna
Phenoxyethanol is an ingredient widely used as a preservative in cosmetics, as an alternative to parabens, and is considered to be totally safe at low levels.

Should I be putting this on before primer or in place of it?

Asked by: Vgs59
You may use this either directly on your skin (before primer) or you may mix it in to your foundation (after primer).

I see youtubers putting on this liquid stuff on the apples of their cheeks and it runs down their face before they rub it all over. They do this step before concealer and foundation. Can you tell me what this product is and what its used for?

Asked by: Maskedmaiden
I can't tell you what the YouTubers are using it for, but I can tell you that I use it on my clean face before moisturizing. I have very dry skin and this just sets up my skin for a good dose of needed moisture.
