Hydrating Booster Drops is rated 4.1 out of 5 by 47.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from I have oily acne prone skin BUT... actually bought these drops for $5 at Burlington Coat Factory. I don't think I'd ever have tried them at $10 a bottle. The bottle is tiny. I just picked them up because it looked like an interesting serum. I haven't done much with them besides set them on my skin care table for months but the other day read something about these drops in particular having a tacky dry down feeling and that it was a good primer. I have been having issues with my normal moisturizer not looking that great under makeup so I decided to use these drops as a moisturizer strictly in the morning before makeup..OMG. I have the worst skin one could imagine despite spending hideous amounts of money and time and effort trying to achieve even semi clear skin .I only use high quality makeup as well.... But that's another story..acne, hide pores, texture issues, scars from old breakouts, oily skin, hot and dirty workplace environment...my skin has many strikes against it from the jump...but I'm so glad I decided to try these as a lightweight moisturizer under makeup application ...I don't find the finish tacky at all just hydrating and luscious, it dries down and feels weightless on my face..I love that I DON'T feel IT rather the effects.. You know what I mean? Don't feel a thick layer on my epidermis... And.the feeling of this serum is so nice. Light, non oily, non sticky but somehow still viscous and thick.. The only drawback is the amount in the bottle because I'm already almost out a few days in and only use one dropperful per day.. This doesn't pill up under makeup, doesn't negatively affect application or final result in any way. It gives my skin a nice drink and doesn't cause breakouts or any shininess. I'd love for these to be marketed under the name of under foundation moisturizer or makeup Moisturizer so any ladies or men with similar issues could find these useful. ..if there were more in the bottle this would be great for adding to skincare to stretch out the life of other products (by adding this you'd use less higher priced items daily) .but I'm saving this liquid gold to use as a light AM moisturizer.. I've tried my Glow Recipe Pineapple C Serum under foundation (I use fenty pro filt'r hydrating foundation for reference) and it looked gross...caused my makeup to seperate and cake up. I'll stick to taking that at night and using this in the morning after cleansing and toning. Make a larger bottle ELF! I'll always buy this stuff as long as I can to use first before makeup. It helps my makeup look amazing and would be a good primer if I didn't need something more substantial for my skin issues and the need for longetevity due to where I work.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Extends the Lasting Power of A Moisturizer Makes your moisterizer last longer. Moderately oily slip to it. It can flake once it dries if you put too much of it compared to the amount of moisturizer you put on. It won't do that if you find the right combination for your skin. Small amount of product for a high price.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Replaced my $70 serum! Idk y everyone on here is complaining about price...$10?!??! Guess maybe cos I was used to paying $70 for kiehl's midnite recovery serum concentrate so for me it's a huge savings! Plus I can buy at my local Weiss or Walmart..and thus far (using 1 wk now) seems to work just as well..will.know for sure when winter comes! And btw it should last at least 3 months or longer as a serum ..thus requires a few drops. Will update review when winter weather if hydrates as well as kiehl's. For now I am sold!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Amazing for what its worth I'm actually really impressed with how good this product is, I used to use it after an intense face mask and it would hydrate my skin very nicely. It felt nice on my skin. The only downside about it is that it comes in a very little bottle and I dont think I would like to purchase 5 of these every week. I used it on the daily since it provided really good moisture to my skin and my cheeks do usually flake up, using this helped it a lot. It would be really nice if this product would be available in a bigger bottle rather than a small, then I guess I would definitely purchase it again!!!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from I bought this ready for autumn/winter coming as i tend to get very red flakey skin around my mouth, nose and eyebrows. It has a lovely consistency that sinks in quickly leaving my face feel plump. HOWEVER, the quantity of product in this bottle for the price you pay is appalling! no more than 2/3 full. I swapped to this from my usual Revolution hyaluronic acid as it was on offer so luckily didnt pay full price, but i will not be repurchasing this again until you sort this issue out e.l.f. Purely wouldnt recomend this product based on this alone and i cant see the bottle lasting half as long as my revolution product which lasts a good 3 months using it twice a day every day.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Quality - Great Price First of all, I’m super confused why some people are giving it a lower rating because it didn’t “bronze” or tan their skin. It doesn’t mention anywhere on the package or ELF’s website where this bronzing or meant for tanning. Glow & the healthy dewy look, definitely! But tanning...hmmm? But I LOVE the moisturizing qualities even though I’m oily-dry. I mixed it with concealer & foundation which made it go on my face flawlessly! I don’t even use a primer now. Perfect price & accessibility at drug stores, Ulta, Walmart etc. Great job ELF!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Bottle is Half Empty! Got my package today and the drops are just filled half way!! So sad cause I was actually hoping this would last a long time like the other products I have bought.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Wonderful product, but not worth the price I was shopping for a moisturizer of some sort to add to my daily routine and this was sort of an impulse buy. I really do like the formula a lot - just a drop on each cheek and one on my forehead is enough to provide full face coverage and it not only absorbs quickly, but it leaves my face feeling nice and soft! It plays nice with my other skincare products as well and didn't cause any sort of irritation, so that's a big plus! My honest to goodness only gripe with these drops is the size of the container. I probably sound like a cheapskate, but I wish it was larger, even if the price reflected a bigger size! Because I blew through this stuff in less than a month applying 2-3 drops at a time. Usually dropper-style bottles of serums or what have you last me several months. It's a really beautiful product, but in order to not have to repurchase it on a monthly basis, I would recommend buying 2-3 bottles at a time, and I personally don't think it's worth it when there are better products for less. I'm so sorry, e.l.f., I want to 100 percent love this product, but I can't justify buying it again. But I'm still giving four stars for quality.

What is the practical difference between this product and the nourishing facial oil?

Asked by: Nicole7
The Hydrating Booster Drops plump and hydrate your skin, where the facial oil moisturizes and nourishes. Both may be used alone or mixed into your foundation.

Is this like the Inglot Duraline?

Asked by: jcpdice
No, duraline has a dry down similar to that of liquid eyeliner. This stays dewy and is for hydration. Duraline is for pigments.

Is this oil free? Can it be used to make thick foundation slightly thinner and easier to blend?

Asked by: manu
On their instagram, they used the sun kissed drops to make the foundation consistently which is similar to this and in the same line so i think so
