Rated 4 out of 5 by from Too big I have this brush and it’s overall good but way too big for highlighting. It’s more of a blush brush

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Dissapointed This is definitely not a highlighting brush, it does not pick up any product. I have tried on 3 different brand of highlighters (Mac, Jeffree star, Kylie cosmetics), literally nothing goes on brush, not even a little... It only picks up blush or bronzer. I normally love their brushes but sadly this was disappointing.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Really Messy The brush is soft on your skin but when I used it with my highlighter it seemed to make deep cuts in the highlighter and get product everywhere. I would not recommend.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazing for bronzing Originally bought this for highlighting but wasn't the biggest fan so I started using it for bronzing and fell in love. I've been using it everyday for months now. It is the PERFECT size and shape for bronzing your forehead and getting up into the hairline without ruining your hair. It also gives you a nice precise cheekbone contour and fits perfectly down the side of your nose. I used to bronze with a bigger fluffy brush but now that I switched over to this, my make up looks so much more clean and precise. Also my bronzer lasts ALL day !!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Works better for blush Not a good highlighting brush. Cannot pick up or deposit the product.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Disappointed. The brush itself was soft and the bristles felt nice to the touch. However, it was not very effective for me to use as a highlighting brush. It was way too big and did not pick up the product as well as I had wanted.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Actually not bad This is actually one of my better elf brushes. I have had some eye brushes hat were too hard or rough on the eyes but this one is soft and does a great job. Holds a good amount of product at one time. For the price u can’t beat it.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Too big This brush has the same quality as the rest of the Elf brushes which is amazing, but this brush is a lot bigger than you would think and a lot bigger than most high listing brushes you will find on the market. I use it on natural days when I don’t need a precise highlight but it have to use a flat foundation brush for a heavy, more precise highlight.

I try to use the highlighting brush for a colourpop highlighter and it doesn't pick up much of the pigment and don't know if its a problem with the brush or the pigment itself?

Asked by: leslie71
Colourpop highlighters are best applied with the Small Stipple Brush. They are a cream formula and most brushes like this don't work too well with them. If using this brush, you may have better luck applying the highlight with your finger, then blending out with this brush...or just get the AMAZING small stipple brush!

Does this work with cream highlighters?

Asked by: ksingh
No... Ive found the elf small stipple brush is a godsend for cream or liquid highlight... This performs well on any powder but not cream

How does this compare to the Real Techniques contour brush from the core collection? Is the elf less dense/fluffier and bigger?

Asked by: wickeddingus
its flimsier, and the shape is different. This is pointier, and the bristles in the middle are longer
