Rated 2 out of 5 by from Learned my lesson Usually in love with e.l.f. cosmetics, but of the three baked ones I've purchased from them, I'm sad to say they've all been flops. This one is no different. I can't seem to get it to stick to brushes or even the sponge highlight applicator I bought with the order. What I can get onto my cheek doesn't show up subtly or otherwise.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Bright, beaming, shining, gleaming. I was recommended this a while ago by a friend and at first I didn't believe that such a cheap highlighter could look this good! It's the best highlighter ever. It's so pigmented that a small dab of it can bring your look from a 7 to a 10. You can spray a bit of setting spray on your brush before applying the highlighter to your face if you want an extra boost.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Been using it for years! Love it! It lasts FOREVER and is a really pretty shade. I use it it highlight my face and also as an eyeshadow. Can’t beat the price

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Better for darker skin, but still I'm really white, like too white for ELF's acne fighting foundation (porcelain, the lightest shade, is too orangey for me), so Blush Gems is a little too dark for my skin tone. Moonlight Pearls would be a better shade for my face, but besides the color issue, this is pretty great. Pigmentation is nice. I make it glow even more buy spraying some fixing spray on my brush pefore applying. For 5$, it's pretty good :)

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love! I love using this on my brides!! You do have to scrape off the first layer to get to the good stuff but then you get amazing results!

Is the Moonlight Pearls highlighter eye safe? For instance, if I wanted to apply it as an eyeshadow, would it be safe for me to do that on my eyes?

Asked by: Sara28

I would choose Moonlight Pearls if you are looking for a brighter highlight and Blush Gems if you are looking for a more natural, rosy highlight.

Which highlighter should I get if I have tan skin? I wear light/medium or "light beige" in foundation, so that's what my skin is like. I've been using Moonlight, but it's a little too white. I was thinking Apricot??

Asked by: Rosette
Apricot definitely

I have the PALEST skin (as in, no drugstore concealers are light enough for me), and I have freckles. How light is moonlight pearls? Would it look as though I've visibly swiped a dark colour across my cheekbones, or would it look semi-decent?

Asked by: nabi
I have pale skin too. This is great for me. It is very light.

is the new apricot color good for very pale skin? it looks kinda dark in the picture but i cant tell

Asked by: Nickyoo
Apricot gold is a bronze gold colour best suited for those with darker shades as it compliments browns. Pale skin looks best with the color moonlight pearls in my opinion as silvery colours best compliment lighter tones.
