Rated 1 out of 5 by from BRUSH BROKE AFTER SIX DAYS I owned this brush maybe four years ago and lost it. I decided on the 26th of march that I wanted another. It is not as dense as it used to be and the ferrule/brush head came off the handle today (4/6/2021). Paint is chipping off the handle. There is barely any glue/adhesive on the handle where the ferrule is attached. The quality of elf brushes used to be wayyyyy better. I am SO disappointed because this used to be one of my favorite brushes. Wet n Wild has a flat top buffer that retails for $3.49. ive owned that one for about two years and it hasn't broke, never came loose, no wiggling at the ferrule. i highly suggest you look for that one instead of this one. You may be able to find it at dollar tree. It is the white brush in the center. Jessup also has a flat top buffer called the 104/Buffer. i bought it in a set of 25 brushes for $26.69 including shipping and tax from jessups offical ebay, so its individual value is approximately $1.07. ive owned that one for about 9 days and its pretty sturdy so far) It is the brush on the far left. Jessup has its own store online, can be found on ebay and aliexpress. the 104/Buffer is not listed on jessups website under the single brushes, there is another flat top buffer called Flat Brush 080 and it retails for $8.46. It is NOT the same brush that came in the 25pc set and i do not know how that one performs. I have not tried any products from Shopmissa yet but they also have a flat top buffer called the Cala Rose Quartz Buffing Brush (its really pretty ^_^) for $1.00 and another one called the Hi Def Brush F1 which has to be purchased in a two piece set called the The F1 & E101 Kabuki Brush Duo for $2.00, so each brush is a dollar. I know elf has a strong hold on the affordable cosmetics community but YOU HAVE OPTIONS. I have a hot glue gun so its not a total loss, but i shouldn't be expected to repair something after SIX FLIPPING DAYS. and yes you get what you pay for, but the wet n wild brush is around the same price range and has managed to last...so...just do your research please.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Not a bad brush...? Not dense enough to buff in foundation or powders. Okay for stamping powder into skin, not fluffy enough to be a good powder knock of brush.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great quality as always! Love it for buffing in my mineral powder... this brush gives it a lighter application than a dense brush.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great for powder foundation I had this brush unopened in my stash for about three years bc had planned on using it with liquid foundation but have a few other flat top brushes so I hadn't gotten around to it until recently I've started wearing mineral powder foundation and the other night I decided to try this brush with a new loose mineral powder foundation and it's perfect, very soft but dense enough to provide coverage, it left my skin looking smooth and practically flawless, I also used it pinched it to carve out my contour with a brightening powder and it worked great for that too. This is a very good multitask face brush and the price is right. A new staple in my makeup routine.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best powder brush ever I've used this brush for years, I keep one at home and one in my gym bag make up kit. I've used more expensive brushes and they've ended up shedding. The price is amazing, and the bristles are the perfect shape, feel and softness for perfectly applying face powders be it powder base or setting powders! This is the best brush and I recommend it to friends, and have even bought them for gifts. I end up with an "air-brushed" matte look when my make-up is complete.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Does the Job not really much can go wrong with a powder brush. although it is has never had hairs falling off and mines an older one. still in tact! Sometimes I use it for blush too.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from applies podwer beautifully this is a really good brush for powders. you can control the amount of product that you apply with this brush as well and doesnt make your makeup appear cakey. my mum used it and loves it as well due to to how soft it is on the skin.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great for mineral powder I use this for mineral powder and love it! The kind I use comes in tiny containers, so the stiffness that others have mentioned gives more control over how much product gets onto the brush.

Is this a relatively small brush? Could I use it for highlighting?

Asked by: danidimeo317
yes this is a smaller face brush, and yes you could use it for highlighting, though because its synthetic, it will do a light wash
