Gets it done
This brush cleaner is okay for the price you pay especially if you purchase when on sale. I love the smell!!! II use this product for eye brushes only... it cleans them very good and fast. I usually use as a quick/ fast way when doing make up and I need to use the same brush to finish my make up.

Works great and smells fresh
This stuff is great for a quick cleaning. It works wonders on sponges and beauty blenders, too. It does smell a bit like rubbing alcohol, but since rubbing alcohol kills germs and bacteria, that's a GOOD thing. As long as you RINSE the brushes off, the smell goes away.

Great brush cleaner
I bought this two months ago and it’s still over halfway full. This goes a long way! It leaves the brushes very clean and it only takes a few hours to dry. I will be buying another bottle when this omen runes our. :)

Does the job
Cleans my brushes pretty well but the smell is a little over powering for me.

Wouldn't buy again.
Bought this at CVS and OMG too strong of a scent! Also didn't help my brushes much either, what actually got on them and not in the sink.
Too perfumey, makes me nauseous.

I love this stuff. While many people think it’s just alcohol & water, denatured alcohol is highly effective as a solvent and cleaning agent & this cleans my brushes way better than the pack of organic makeup wipes I spent double the price on.

What is better to use? The spray cleaner or wipes?
I prefer the spray cleanser.

Can this produce be used to clean beauty blenders as well?
I thought the same thing and attempted to use it on a beauty blender but it did not work. The beauty blender just absorbed the spray instead of using it as a cleanser.

My friend has an e.l.f. Brush cleanser and she says that it smells like cucumbers, is this true?
I think it smells like cucumber. I love the smell but if you use too much, it can become overpowering.

What is the actual fragrance? It smells like honeysuckle or some other flower. I love it.
I love the smell. To me it is a cucumber-like scent

I usually clean my brushes with vinager, soap and a little bit of baking soda, I've never really used brush cleaners before. After spraying the brushes with the brush cleaner do you just leave your brushes like that or do you rinse them after wards??
You don't rinse with this! You just wipe your brushes on a paper towel or hand towel you don't mind getting makeup on...read the how to use by the product info

Can I use this spray on actual cosmetics as a disinfectant? Will is change the color payoff or break me out? Thanks
Do NOT do that. At the very least it will deposit questionable ingredients to the cosmetic. More important than ruined makeup
, though, is the potential for ruined skin. Check YouTube for diy advice about sanitizing your makeup. And do not use brush spray on your cosmetics.

is elf a really good brand ?
Yes, yes and yes! Price naturally draws you in but the quality of their products keep you hooked! Can't say enough about their customer service people.
They get back to you right away and always have a more than mutual solution. You will not be sorry. I had to get off their email list because I want EVERYTHING! :)

What is this supposed to smell like?
I personally think it smells absolutely awful. It smells like a woman's perfume and it is so strong. I easily get headaches from smells so this was bad for me. The product is very good though so I still repurchase.
