WHAT LIP GLOSS IS MEANT FOR?

Lip gloss also known as lip lacquer is used to add shine and give a glossy appearance to your lips. It can be worn alone for a more natural look or on top of lipstick. Depending on the type, lip gloss can also be used to make your lips look more voluminous and plumper. Lip gloss can also help to moisturize and soften the lips, making them appear smoother and more hydrated. HOW DO YOU APPLY LIP GLOSS?

To apply lip gloss, start by exfoliating your lips with a lip scrub to remove any dry or flaky skin. Moisturize your lips with a lip balm to ensure a smooth application. Take the lip gloss applicator and gently swipe it across your bottom lip, starting from the center and moving towards the corners. Repeat on the top lip. You can use a lip brush to evenly distribute the gloss. Blot your lips with a tissue to remove any excess product. For a more polished result, fill your lips with lip liner first then swipe the lip gloss onto your top and bottom lips from center to corner and press your lips together. You can also go back and outline your lips with the liner to refine your lip shape.

Lip plumping lip gloss is designed to temporarily give the appearance of fuller and plumper lips. It includes ingredients that cause a tingling or cooling sensation on your lips resulting in plumper more voluminous look. Lip plumping gloss has a glossy finish and can be worn alone or on top of lipstick or lip stain.

IS LIP STAIN THE SAME AS LIP GLOSS?

While lip stain and lip gloss both add color and shine to your lips, lip stains are formulated to absorb into your lips, which makes the color last longer. Lip gloss has a shiny or glossy finish that is applied on top of your lips and can also be applied on top of lipstick or lips stain. Lip glosses are typically more hydrating than lip stains.

Lip oil is a beauty product that is more of a mix between a lip balm and a lip gloss that nourishes and hydrates your lips with a glossy shine. Many lip oils are infused with lip loving ingredients such as squalane and botanical oils, making them a great addition to any skincare or makeup routine. They can be worn alone or on top of your favorite lipstick.
