Rated 5 out of 5 by from Constantly reach for this gem! This brush is the brush to end all foundation brushes. I have many foundation brushes but this one works well with every foundation I've tried. I bought it almost a year ago and it has held up very nicely as well. Just as good as the day i bought it!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Favorite Foundation Brush! I bought this brush years ago and stopped using it to use a sponge. I recently returned to it, and i adore it. It’s absolutely fantastic. I’ve used it with stick foundation, liquid foundations, concealer, and cream contour. I’m in love with this brush. Other reviewers have said it soaks up a lot of foundation, but I’ve never experienced that problem. It’s definitely become a “can’t-live-without” brush for me. I don’t even use a sponge to apply anymore.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Not good for liquid foundations I've used this with different liquid foundations from Mac, Loreal, and two from elf, and this bush theft them all streaky and gross and I had to go over with a sponge. I do like it for stick foundations and cream contour. The bristles are soft enought that i can use it for powder contour, but they are too long to use with liquid. It's sleek and nice looking and very affordably priced.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Love it I honestly think this brush works only as a powder and blush brush but besides that it’s great! Feels and looks amazing! I use it when applying any powder face makeup and it works great!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Good Idea, in theory I bought it a few months ago to try out since I have always just used sponges to do my makeup (recently learned the art of the "beauty blender bounce") but watched a few videos on youtube and was inspired to try out an actual makeup BRUSH for my foundation. I've always used the elf brand brushed for my eyes, so I figured this would be pretty good quality. The first time around, I know I did it wrong (way too much product) but after a few times trying I noticed that it was actually starting to blend in the foundation. You have to put very small lines of the product on your face (think swatching) otherwise it becomes very streaky. I find that if you dip the brush into the product first, it gets much too wet and doesn't go on properly. I clean it every time I use it, because a freshly washed brush works the absolute best. Combine that with a sponge, and you're good to go.

To anyone why has the Real Techniques expert face brush.... would you say this brush is comparable to it? Would be a great help. Thanks!

Asked by: rlyons145
I have both the R. T. Expert Face Brush and the E.L.F. Foundation Blurring Brush. The density is the same. The shape is very different though. E.L.F.'s is rounded and dense. I use it for final buffing because too much product is wasted if you dip it directly into product. I love this brush for buffing on my Physicians Formula Butter Bronzer and general buffing.

is this a dual fiber brush? or are the bristles just dyed white at the end??

Asked by: kristin924
These brushes are absolutely dual fiber. They have two different kinds of fibers present which is all that is necessary to make it a dual fiber brush
