Additional Information

Matte Blush Duo is rated 4.3 out of 5 by 20.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Full of surprises When this blush arrived I had originally thought they delivered the wrong color, but I checked the website and it was, indeed, the color I ordered. The colors in real life (for the Rosy Flush duo) are much more brown and not as pink/red. The lighter color in the duo is borderline tan. Despite the color difference, the blush blends nicely and the color is cute and natural looking. It loses pigmentation throughout the day but remains visible and soft.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect Matte Blush! I purchased Rosy Flush and that is exactly what it is. I layer it on with the lighter shade and then with the darker on the apples of my cheeks. The lighter shade almost matched my skin tone but layering it makes a difference and brings out that lighter shade. It blends really well and it’s very pigmented! This is my new favorite blush :)

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Colors not the same online The colors in the pictures online are definitely more vibrant and less brown than they appear in real life. A little let down by the actual colors.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Wonderful brown blush The Soft and Subtle duo was a pleasant surprise. I have trouble with many blushes clashing with my very cool olive skin, but this works. The brown shade is perfect; I thought the lighter shade would not show up on my skin, but it does leave a subtle warmth that I find very wearable. The formula is smooth, and the fact that it is matte really sells it for me.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Great colors, but so patchy I heard Kathleenlights rave about this, so I bought it to give it a try. I really like the colors in the soft and subtle shade (I mix both of them), but it is SOOO patchy. Even if I wear the most smoothing primer and foundation, it gets patchy and looks like dirt on my face. It's still a good blush though, and many people seem to like it, so maybe it just doesn't work for me. Elf is my favorite brand, so it pains me to leave a bad review.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Soft & Subtle Just what I needed. A slightly pinkish nude blush. Both colors are beautiful alone and when mixed. Very silky and blendable. Love this blush!!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Beautiful Both of these duos are really pretty and a lot more pigmented than I was expecting for such seemingly suble colours. They blend really nicely giving a pretty flush to the cheeks.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from So nice I have the rosy flush one and I love how the blush looks on my skin tone (medium/dark). The second peachy colour I use to tone down the rosy blush, if I put too much. Sometimes I mix both colours together and I also use the peachy one to set my eye primer and start a base. This product is so good.

Which palette would go best with darker skin?

Asked by: Yowe
I have a deeper skin tone and I think both of these blush sets can work for different purposes depending on how deep your skin tone is. The rosy flush set I think will work for most deeper skin tones to give a natural looking blush. It also can be built up for a more dramatic look. The soft and subtle set will work to give a natural looking blush as well on lighter deep tones. For skin tones more on the brown side like mine, the deeper side of the set can be used as face powder to set make up, as a natural contour or as a transition color for your eye makeup. The lighter side is very yellow based and is a very effective substitute for a banana powder to set your under eye highlight.

When will soft & subtle be restocked?

Asked by: mshuz

I love the formula of the Total Face Palette and Contour Palettes because they don't contain mineral oil. Is ELF planning to offer more blushes that don't contain mineral oil or parabens?
