Rated 3 out of 5 by from Unfortunately, I was Disappointed Unfortunately this gave me a rash and broke me out after only one use. I really loved the way it looked on my skin. Even more than Glossier's perfect skin tint. Smoothed out my pores and looked like my skin, but better. Didn't even need concealer. This is definitely for fair skinned people. (And those without sensitive skin) I can't wear any of elf's other foundation or concealer because they're too dark for me, and this one was a decent match. They should add more shades. I suspect the fragrance is what I had a reaction to. It's HIGHLY scented.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Too Watery and Ashy I reallllly love the idea of an active line from elf, so I bought a multitude of the active line products. I was really hoping this moisturizer would be a good fit, but it is not. It is really watery, the "tint" is not a tint, but rather an ashy color even for being a light/medium skin tone. It has a scent to it, which was quite nice, though it had me nervous about breaking out, but luckily that didn't happen. As a whole, it gave my skin a ghostly pale hue, which turned me off from it. I really wanted to like this, but it's just been sitting in my makeup bag untouched since the first few times.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Strong perfume scent! I wanted to try this product as a replacement for my Clinique FIT foundation. While it does compare texture wise, it doesn't really hold up as far as tint goes. And I don't know if it's just me, but I could not stand the strong floral scent on my face.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Pale Ginger that need all the SPF I bought this because my 15 SPF just wasn't kicking it anymore. I needed something a bit stronger. I love it so much but I would agree it's a little on the pale end.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Obsessed This might not be for everyone but it is perfect for me! I was in the market for a tinted sunscreen with high SPF and this is exactly what I was looking for. I seriously want to run back to the store and buy a bunch more to stock up. I have never felt that way about a product before!! LOVE IT

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Way too runny The formula is way too runny, I thought maybe it was just separation but no matter how much I tried to shake up the bottle it was ridiculously runny. It also leaves a greasy feeling on your face and hands

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Not what I expected, but nice I bought this thinking it would be a liquid sunscreen. Instead, it is like a primer/foundation. I am very pale and it was the right color for me. But, it only comes in one color and doesn't give a swatch on the bottle?... Strange. But it worked for me. It stays on and evens out the skin tone really well. Need to be careful combining with other lotions because it will flake off. But it's really nice by itself, like instead of other products. It's a one-step kind of thing and stays on really well when I use it like that.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Makes Me Look Ashy I bought this i needed a sunscreen. It gives me a white cast and I’m not even that dark. Wouldn’t reccomend if youre darker than a light medium skin tone. The white cast does go away after some wear time. It didnt make my oily skin act up, in fact it actually helped control my oil. The packaging needs to be changed bc the product melts away the paint on the bottle which is kinda annoying and messy because it leaks everywhere. Other than that, it’s decent I guess

Is the tint shade for this moisturizer really suitable for all skin tones? As a woman of color I have to know before spending ten dollars on a product I'll never use.

What colour is the tint, and how noticeable is it? Would be great to see a photo of the product.

Asked by: CanadianMaddy
The tint is a light beige, and there is definitely some pigment that will show and cover like a tinted moisturizer
