Rated 1 out of 5 by from Smears when eating & applying, not worth $5 I bought the shade mauvelous. It's a pretty shade but the lipstick quality is annoying. It smears when you apply it. I wore this lipstick to a wedding and had to keep reapplying since it would come off so easily when i was eating. It also transfers badly (on the straw, napkins, your food). I gave it to my mom to see if it was any different and she wasn't happy either. Don't recommend.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from New favourite, affordable liquid lip I'm really happy I finally grabbed 'coffee' to try the formula, and will certainly be ordering more. I've got extremely high hopes for the black shade, but didn't want to try it first since they can be trickier to formulate. 'Coffee' is that rich, warm brown shade that's perfect for fall! For reference, it's the slightest bit deeper than UD's '1993' and then a shade warmer than NYX's liquid lingerie in 'after hours. It's opaque with one coat, the applicator makes for an easy application without smudging outside the lipline and it lasts very well.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from A decent, average matte lip stick This is average. I ordered tea rose and although it's pretty, it was darker and closer to a brownish pink which was not what I expected. It is comfortable and long lasting. My favorite part is the applicator. I have a small cupid bow that is sometimes difficult to define but this applicator has great precision and makes that task much easier.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Absolutely Beautiful! Without a doubt one of the best lipsticks I've worn! Super comfortable to wear, and gets stuck well to the lips! It lasts a long time and doesn't get wiped off easily to stay on for longer! Feels very natural on my lips and unobtrusive! Would absolutely recommend mixing together Coffee and Mauvelous!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Color not as pictured I bought this in the color Blushing Rose and it's much darker than advertised. Please come out with a lighter shade because this is way too dark for my pale skin!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from AMAZING I've used this when I want color to my lips and it is easy to put on. Its not too dry and it fits right into your natural lips. It last all day long. But it can get too dry. I recommend putting Aquaphor on a Q-tip and dabbing it on your lips.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Oh my gosh I couldn't belive that such a cheap lipstick could be so good.. Honestly I have never tried anything better, I prefer this formula instead of the Mac ones.. I got all the shades.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Doesn't Feel Like A Matte Lippie I do not like matte lipsticks...they make my lips look weird, sink into my lines, dry down to concrete and are usually just super uncomfortable. So when I received these lippies from elf and I was going to pass them on but I really liked the color, so I thought, why not try it. The packaging is nice to the touch, it does not feel cheap at all. The applicator is a triangular shaped wand which makes it nice to make sure your cupids bow is spot on. The formula going on felt like a lipstick...creamy, pigmented and hydrating....I was surprised! It took a bit to dry down, but when it did it did not transfer and it definitely did not feel dry. It no longer felt like a hydrating lipstick but I could not feel it on my lips, which is a good thing. Since it was Tuesday, I ate tacos, drank and gave my puppy kisses. After all of this, the color had faded, but it was now a nice tint. There is not a scent of vanilla or cookies to this product. It has a slightly chemical smell, but it is not something you taste or smell while applying the product. The only reason I did not give it 5 stars is because you probably would need to reapply this product after eating and also because since it does dry down, you definitely need to exfoliate your lips. I noticed it accentuated my dry skin. I recommend using the lip exfoliate from elf before applying this product, the coconut one is what I's yummy and works really well! I do recommend this product, especially if you do not like the feel of matte lipsticks. This one is good.

How matte is it??????

Asked by: ElaynaSpencer
It is very matte, dry, and non shiny or sparkly. These need up to two coats, drying in between coats. But first exfoliate with sugar scrub you can make it with some sugar and coconut oil if you don't have any wipe that off, moisturize a bit let it soak in and blot, then use a primer or lip liner if you want this to stay put and in the lines. Dark colors hard to keep in the lines as the wand has a large foot. Might want to whip out a lip brush instead if that is a problem that is a good improvise. Semi transfer proof once dry, and do not put on anything oily under or on top of this liquid lip or it will melt! Also eating oily or greasy food will not be a friend, so prepare for a fall out and go fix it up in the bathroom after you're done eating. Or cut up bites small and not touch the lips haha.

Is the color Black Out completely opaque?

Asked by: Waffles 1423
yeah its opaque but you need two layer, its a really nice dark black colour similar to colourpop Friday but the downside is that it can transfer very quickly when eating and drinking

Can we see a picture of blushing rose how it looks on the lips please

Asked by: dp1204
It is a cool, nude-pink tone. It looks nice under natural light, but it can look a bit gray under artificial lighting, at least on me.

In the pictures, Berry Sorbet appears less pigmented and less even. Is it like that in real life?

Asked by: brooklyngirly
No, it actually applies quite nicely.

How many times through out the day do you have to reapply?

Asked by: Ella2015
For me it depended on what I ate and drank. I wold apply about 2x a day, 3 the most and they were slight touch-ups.
