Illuminating Eye Cream,

Additional Information

Illuminating Eye Cream is rated 3.9 out of 5 by 261.
Rated 1 out of 5 by from Reaction to Product For the price, I thought I couldn't go wrong with trying this! I read reviews prior and fortunately, did not experience the tingling and burning I saw noted elsewhere. The product is easy to apply and feels great upon application. However, after the first three days, the skin around my eyes felt very itchy and I noticed several white bumps and a reddish rash. My skin might just be too sensitive for this product, but I am glad I tried it. While I don't plan to use it again, I have not had any problems with other elf products and would definitely recommend other offerings.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Reduced Puffiness I like this product. It has some great benefits: reducing my puffy eyes, brighter eyes, feels nice, smoothing. I will buy it again.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I love this eye cream. I bought this a few weeks ago and use it nightly. My under eyes are much brighter and more moisturized. Great product especially at this price.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from My Fav Eye Cream Ever I Bought this Product around two weeks ago and barely started to use it one week ago and the first couple of days I noticed what other high end creams could not achieve; reduce my dark circles. Also my wrinkles around my dark circles started to fade away and reduce in size. I always thought that buying expensive us creams would make a difference and only to find out my remedy was just a few blocks at target. I love elf and thank you for making my skin better without going broke.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from The only cream that doesn't burn my skin! I have really sensitive skin due to eczema and I've been looking for a good undereye cream for a while now. I've tried a lot of eye creams in the past and always ended up with my skin looking like it was chemically burned. However, a few months ago I received a sample of this cream and decided to give it a try. Since I had no allergic reactions after a while, I decided to buy the full size product and been using it since then. Overall, it's not "the best cream ever" and it won't solve every issue that you may have with your undereye, but so far it's the ONLY eye cream that doesn't burn the heck out of my skin and it does hydrate. For me, this product is totally worth it, especially since you really don't need a lot to get the job done, that little jar will last for a long time.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from No Reduction of Dark Circles. I brought this and used up the entire container, and I really saw no difference in the dark circles under my eyes. Admittedly, I'm extremely pale, and those circles are pretty extreme. It did treat the dryness around my eyes quite well, but I could have done that with any lotion. However, if I got in my eye it burned really badly. Which, is a bit upsetting with an eye cream. As you can imagine it did happen from time to time.

What are some of the stores that have a good variety of e.l.f. products to purchase ?   I have heard alot of good things about your products, really would like to try a few, without having to pay shipping and handling.

They also carry elf at rite aid and CVS now. I've been using most elf products before they became popular. I love they're products. They should give them to me! Lol!

I have been using the e.l.f. illuminatin eye cream for a while... I just tried to purchase it at walmart and it wouldn't allow the cashier to scan it said it was recalled. Can you tell me why? I cant find anything on line why it was recalled, thank you

Asked by: gnbparks
I'm not a dermatologist or any kind of medical professional, but the answer to your questions ladies is very clear. With all the other negative comments about burning, peeling skin around the eye area, E,.L.F. Cosmetics obviously are recalling these products. Research has probably been done and it is possible they may have updated the product. So just maybe the problem has been corrected. Why not contact E.L.F. customer service and ask if he item has ben recalled, why , if a new product will soon be available, etc .☺

I purchased the illuminating eye cream from a local Target and after having used the cream day and night for two days I have noticed that shortly after dabbing it under my eyes I feel tingling and a slight burning sensation, is that meant to happen?

Asked by: Asuzena16
I've not had this issue, but your eye area is super sensitive so it's probably sensitive to something in the formula

My local CVS just started carrying e.l.f. cosmetics. I have extremely sensitive skin. I cannot wear most mascaras due to sensitivity. Can you please elaborate on the ingredients in e.l.f. products? Are they considered hypoallergenic and/or organic?

Asked by: Elainey
I  would not recommend this product for your skin since it is very sensitive. I also have very sensitive skin and this caused my under eye area to peel and flake off, as well as burn when applied. I used it only about 4 times when it started happening.

Can this be used twice a day or should it only be used once a day?

Asked by: MidnightRose321962
Recommended use morning and Night after cleansing. Apply gently around your under eye area with soft dabs or tapping into the skin, not rubbing. I apply in a raccoon pattern around my eyes, going from under eyes to temples, and above my eye brows.
