Rated 3 out of 5 by from Just okay I liked this spray. Doesn’t really have a smell, and I think it worked pretty good on my skin. I really liked using this as a base spray and setting spray. If my skin was feeling low, I liked running a make up wipe over it and then using this as a pick me up, or even just by itself. It does go pretty quick and I wish you got more for your buck. Obviously it’s not a terrible price, however, they could utilize the bottle better.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great for the price For everyone commenting saying it sucks aa a setting spray should know its NOT setting spray. Its a great primer for dry sensitive acne prone skin

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Super soft I got bought this as a present and haven't stopped using it since. Sets a fantastic foundation for both my every day and going out make up. Also leaves my skin feeling smooth and looking hydrated, which has given me a real confidence boost!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Awesome BUUUUT I bought this because I needed an everyday setting spray, because I did not want to use my urban decay. So a tip is, the spray technique for it that will actually help it be a good product...You kind of have to angle it up ABOVE your face, spray and let the mist sink into your skin. Kinda hard at first but it works. This, TO ME, helped my makeup stay all day long...even longer than the urban decay one. Now, don't come for me but we all have different skin types. I have oily skin and it worked! The only reason why I didn't put a five star, because it is a five star product for me, is simply because of the quantity. IT'S ONLY A LITTLE BIT and for $8?! If it were the whole bottle filled with the product I would stick to this buuut it only has product on the white container inside the bottle. Idk if it makes sense but great product just ELF please make it the whole bottle please!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from It’s works well!! But I bought this awhile ago and it’s works if u have dry skin to really keep a wet face and it’s gets tacky so that is good the mister is horrible it’s shoots at your face so o have to spray it in my hand then rub it on my face but other then that works really well

Rated 4 out of 5 by from I like it BUT... I saw this and purchased it when I was visiting in AZ and hadn't seen it before where I live in NYS. I LIKED IT for setting my makeup and didn't use it everyday.I am thinking of reordering it, but I was surprised it didn't last as long as I expected and am not sure at $8.00 if I want to reorder. I haven't seen it locally.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Just Okay! I bought this because of the low-cost bad idea the mist is more of a heavy mist than a fine mist, it also takes a while to dry I am always on the go so that is a no for me. Plus the list of ingredients sounds like you're about to walk straight into a chemical factory and stand as you would at TSA to get sprayed with unknown substances. The few of things I like about this product is the price, once it dries you don't feel it at all it's soft to the touch, the package is also good. I know elf is a low-cost makeup line but please stop skimping on quality if you have to raise the prices a few bucks to compensate then do it but make sure your products are up to par with what's on the market.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from just dont buy it. i had bought this with an open mind since it was a pretty new product so i wasent expecting anything but a hydrating “mist”. After about two or less weeks this product had finished as if it evaporated out of sight i was so confused until i realized there was barley any product to begin with anyways. Also, this is nothing close to a mist... this literally attacks your face when you spray it & it ruins your makeup if you decide to use it as a setting spray. The formula itself didint do anything at all to my face. I know this is long but i really mean everything i said & hope this prevents you from buying it because it really is a waste of money truthfully.

Just for future reference, ELF usually puts the size information for many products under the "Ingredients" drop down tab on the main product page.

How many ounces of mist is in this bottle?

Asked by: Junijay
It's $8.00 for 1 ounce of product. It's not cheap. Consider that you can get 4oz of primer mist and 4oz of finishing spray plus 2 travel size bottles for $50 or less if you have a coupon code from Skindinavia. That's about $6.00 or less per ounce of a product that provides a superior performance to the E.L.F. product. This primer is not a deal on any level.

I see how this can be also used as a setting spray... wondering how it differs from the actual setting spray?

Asked by: KrisCe
This product differs from a setting spray 1. Because it is not meant for setting, it is a primer meant for use BEFORE you put on your makeup, and if you use after your makeup. it may cause it to run because of the castor oil in it, also many people said it wasn't a mist

This product is not oil-free. It does contain castor oil, but castor oil is not likely to irritate skin or clog pores.
