Rated 5 out of 5 by from I have combination skin and mostly oily on my forehead and cheek area so I was very happy that i had a nice clean look after applying the HD powder over my foundation

Rated 5 out of 5 by from blurs wrinkles, smooth finish I top off my "daily look" to slow down my face's process of getting oily and it has helped a lot. If my face usually gets oily after 4 hours, this helps slow it down to get oily after 6-7 hours. I have combination skin yet it doesn't dry out the patches of drier skin. It is a godsend. My skin feels good and it hasn't made me break out even though i put on a light layer everyday. I just don't like how easy the powder gets everywhere if the container gets tossed around in my travel bag.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from So in love! Bought this six months ago (yes, it lasts for THAT LONG) and it's been great. I can use it with pretty much any foundation. I love that it helps me with my oily skin: even in a rush at work I don't break a sweat. Definetly buying regularly.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from CHANGE YOUR PACKAGING Decent setting powder if applied with a very light hand but it’s absolutely not worth repurchasing if the packaging malfunctions. I very lightly tapped some powder into the cap and the whole sifter fell out and I lost easily over half the product. Elf, please work on your packaging.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works great! Purchased it a few months back and I use a very light amount to set the concealer under my eyes. It won't budge and stays on all day. I highly recommend it to everyone who is looking for an affordable powder that works wonders!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love it Every bit as good as more expensive brands. Keeps me shine-free even in the Southern heat.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Too much fall out I used this setting powder for my concealer and I had noticed that there is a lot of fall out when apply and also some clump specks. I had recently got a trial size for Kat von d setting powder and the difference is truly amazing. There was little to no fall out for that one. Over all messy and you’d have to buy another one sooner cause of how much product you’d be using since it falls out so much

Which color do you recommend for fair skin with pink undertone which has some redness?

Asked by: Vita72
You may use any of the shades, they are all appropriate for your skin tone. The Corrective Yellow will help with the redness.

HI I'M DRARK SKIN  DOES THIS REALLY WORKS ON DARK SKIN? I DONT WANT TO WASTE MY MONEY THANKS

Asked by: GloriaEzeChude
I am a medium brown mixed race lady, and I adore silica powders for their blurring and matifying properties. I do press into the t zone with my beauty blender - but lightly! Then dust around the rest of my face with a brush. Don't be heavy handed, a light dusting is all you need believe me. I use then use a real techniques setting brush to dust the powder under my eyes, around my nose crevices and on my oily eyelids too. This gets rid of any shine, but leaves the skin so smooth. I do my eyebrows, eyeshadow/liner afterwards, and this powder helps them to stay put. I find as the oils come through that they look natural, no tinted powder sitting in pores, no oxidisation and no changing foundation/concealer colour at all.

I have used this product for quite some time. I like the feel of my face and that it seems to absorb oil.  The problem is the glitter in the product. I’m not 15 and I don’t want the glitter. The sheer is so white that I don’t look healthy.

Asked by: Mrs Geise
We suggest that you apply this sparingly and blend very well in a circular motion for all shades, and to avoid flashback (white), if you choose the Sheer shade.

What is the recommended way of setting the powder? I heard there's flashback but if you use it right there will not be any, so how would you apply this properly?

Asked by: saipy20
We suggest that you apply sparingly in a circular motion with a powder or kabuki brush and blend well.

Does this powder cause flashback? I've been looking for an affordable powder that doesn't and I'm hoping this is the one.

Asked by: mads060
When applied correctly and blended, this will not cause flashback.
