Rated 5 out of 5 by from Lovely finish This feels nice and light on my skin but gives me enough coverage. Looks natural on my very pale skin

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best bb cream/foundation I’ve tried so many foundations and bb creams and this one is the best. I used to mainly use physicians formula bb but I tried this and it’s my new favorite. It’s very creamy and hydrating but still works with my oily skin. It covers extremely well and the color buff is perfect. My face tends to break out with almost anything but not this luckily. Also I have gotten compliments and people think I’m wearing Mac foundation.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Clinique Dupe I’d been using Clinique Age Defense BB cream for a while, years. My daughter introduced me to ELF some months back and I’ve joined the beauty club, have been trying many products, and have earned points to use for new products. In a side-by-side test, I cannot tell the difference between ELF BB and Clinique. The look, the application, the finish, the wear: exactly the same. What is NOT the same, however, is the price. I’m thrilled to have discovered this wonderful world of ELF. Keep up the great work.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great for dry skin! I recently bought this and am happy with it! Since my skin is a bit darker than fair, I was going to go with the nude shade. But after reading a couple reviews, I decided to go with the fair shade. It fits my skin tone almost perfectly! It is moisturizing and my skin feels smooth and nourished before and after application. It wears well, but like any other foundation, it rubs off. It has light coverage, so if you're going for a natural look, definitely go with this! Overall, I reccomend this product!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Why did you add fragrance?!? I wore this cream for years and I loved it. The last I received obviously had fragrance added, even though this product used to be advertised as fragrance free. I had nothing to else to wear on me face and thought I could perhaps take it, but nope- within 20 minutes full on allergic reaction including a rash on me cheek. Why would you ruin a great product? More and more people are looking for cosmetics without heavy perfumes...why add them now? Very very disappointed and having to look for a new BB cream after years of loyal use

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Light Coverage This has been my go to BB cream for the last 6 years. When I started attempting to do my own makeup, with the help of my adult daughters, they recommended this as an easy to use, light, with good coverage BB cream (because I wasn't wanting to do full foundation...yet). I cannot tell you how many times I've bought and rebought this product, but I love it and it is always reliable!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Does exactly what I want a BB cream to do. BB creams and I have a long, complex history. I appreciate more lightweight feel, medium coverage, an added SPF and so I’ve forever been on a search for the “one” for me. I’ve used Asian bb creams, which had nice coverage but always seemed to have the wrong undertone for me, (I’m fair with neutral/pink leaning undertones), drugstore ones that had nearly no coverage or else turned orange on me, high end ones that ranged from “okay but not worth the price” to terrible. Clinique Age Defense BB cream was the best one I’d tried, but at nearly $40 a bottle it was frustrating to settle on something that cost so much but was just on the good side of “alright.” I seemed to remember using an Elf Bb cream or tinted moisturizer a few years ago that did not work for me, but I came across this at my local Target and figured I’d give it a go, and honestly it’s been working out better than the $40 one I’ve been using. I have combo skin, and need to use a matifying primer and powder with this, as it does have a lot of hydration to it. It hasn’t broken down on my most oily areas, though, as long as my skin is prepped. Currently, I’ve been loving it with the Elf HD mattifying putty (which I love as a primer, but don’t really use to touch up makeup though it is advertised to do both). I’ve been using a mattifying NARS powder on top, but today used my Rimmel Stay Matte powder and it seems to also work just fine. The pros: medium coverage, blends well with a beauty sponge, has SPF, doesn’t oxidize, wears a full day of work and then some. Doesn’t break me out, and I can have break-out prone skin. The cons: needs the companionship of mattifying products, bad shade range, doesn’t blend well with fingers or a brush.

Why does the instructions say to apply every 2 hours?

Asked by: Sami28
This refers to the SPF protection . . . to be fully effective, it should be reapplied.

I have mostly dry skin because i tend to have bad acne at times. So i was wondering if 1)is the coverage thick enough to hide acne scars and blemishes and 2) will it make my skin look more Dewey and smooth rather than matte and blotchy??

Asked by: CheyRenee
I would use a concealer first like the complete coverage one for your acne scars and discoloration then set those with a tiny bit of powder and then stipple the bb cream on top. You'll have a natural looking finish and look like you have great skin
